This healthcare facility features a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and utilizes advanced EPIC electronic medical records system. The hospital maintains a collaborative environment committed to delivering high-quality obstetrical care with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:
• Provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital environment
• Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily in inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings
• Work 5-6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month from 7 AM to 7 AM the following morning
• Handle average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period, majority are vaginal deliveries with 25% C-sections
• Must have delivery experience and be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Weekend shifts required following the same 24-hour schedule as weekdays
• No on-call responsibilities associated with this position
• Holiday coverage includes holiday pay premium
• Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Active California medical license or application in progress required
• COVID-19 vaccination mandatory per facility requirements
• Preferred candidates will have 1-5 years of relevant practice experience
• Fellowship completion not required
• Position open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship including H1B and J1 visas
