The medical AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by physicians who understand real inpatient care. The teams building them need hospital medicine physicians who can review clinical records, judge whether the AI's claims are supported, provide the answer a careful physician would give, and explain gaps in accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Your clinical judgment becomes part of how the next generation of medical AI handles complex hospital documentation. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.

What you'll do
• Review the hospital stay using FHIR records, clinical notes, and other chart information
• Check clinical claims against the underlying record and apply written review guidelines
• Evaluate histories, medication reconciliation, assessments and plans for accuracy and completeness
• Identify missed considerations involving renal or hepatic dose adjustments, medication interactions, and age-appropriate clinical details

Who this is for
• Hold an MD or DO and qualify through one of these routes: Internal Medicine board certification, or a designation for an Internal Medicine-focused hospital medicine practice
• Bring hospitalist experience of at least five years, plus current or recent inpatient work completed during the last two years
• Be fluent in English and bring strong knowledge of adult inpatient documentation and hospital workflows
• Be comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw chart data, and follow written review guidelines carefully
• No AI experience needed. You bring the hospitalist expertise; the work provides written review guidelines and structured chart-review tasks.

• $80–$125 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
