Inpatient Clinical Documentation Reviewer (MD/DO), Part-Time AI Review - Remote (US)
Job description
• $100–$115 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Evaluate clinical AI systems on your own schedule and help improve how they handle inpatient documentation.
AI systems learn from examples reviewed by clinical experts. The teams building tools for clinical documentation and decision support need inpatient physicians who can read clinical notes, FHIR data and medical records, check whether the chart supports each clinical claim, and point out information that is missing or conflicting. This is part-time contract work done remotely on a flexible schedule.
What you'll do
• Review inpatient clinical notes, FHIR data and other health record data
• Check each clinical claim against the documentation that should support it
• Find discrepancies and omissions in patient history, assessments, diagnoses and care plans
• Apply consistent clinical review standards and write clear, constructive findings
Why this is worth your time
• Build practical clinical-AI evaluation skills while earning $100–$115 an hour reviewing inpatient records
• Work on AI tools for clinical documentation and decision support
• Apply your inpatient clinical judgment to chart review and written model feedback
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine
• Current or recent hands-on experience as an inpatient or hospitalist physician, preferably within the past two years
• Fluent in English, with strong knowledge of patient assessment, diagnosis and clinical reasoning, and of hospital-based care workflows
• Active medical licensure is relevant to this clinical background
• Helpful background includes chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, or medical quality assurance; prior AI training work is not required.
Pay and details
• $100–$115 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
