Facility:
This is a well-established 269-bed community hospital offering comprehensive women's health services in southern Colorado. The facility features a robust obstetrics program with approximately 140 deliveries per month, a Level II-B NICU providing care for newborns from 31 weeks' gestation and beyond, and a collaborative team environment supported by experienced CNMs and dedicated OB/GYN back-up coverage on every shift.

Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive in-house obstetric care including labor management, deliveries, and obstetric triage
• Perform gynecologic consultations, emergent gynecologic surgeries, and management of acute clinical issues
• Enjoy a sustainable schedule of 7 to 8 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
• Collaborate with a Level II-B NICU team providing care for newborns delivered at 31 weeks' gestation and beyond
• Work alongside experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) every shift with dedicated OB/GYN back-up coverage
• Utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record platform for seamless coordination of care
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency) in OB/GYN required
• Active Colorado medical license required, or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days required at time of presentation
• DEA must be obtained prior to start
• On-call and weekend availability required
