This well-established community hospital features 259 beds and provides comprehensive inpatient services across multiple campuses. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and offers a collaborative care model with a strong team of physicians, APPs, and residents working together to deliver high-quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Hospital Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide hospital medicine coverage across Manchester and Rockville campuses
• Manchester day shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM working alongside MD and APP team
• Manchester night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM working alongside MD and APP team
• Rockville night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; must be able to work independently
• APP day shift caseload of approximately 15 patients
• Average of 8-12 admissions per night; must be willing to collaborate with APP and residents
• Hospitalist provider is required to respond to codes and rapid responses
• Coverage model: Manchester - 5 providers and 1 APP on days, swing shift 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, nights include 1 physician and 1 APP
• Rockville coverage model: 1 day provider and 1 APP on nights
• Closed ICU with boarders; 259 total hospital beds
• EMR: EPIC
• Board certification required
• Credentialing timeline: 3-4 months; temporary privileges available with a minimum 2-month basic credentialing process
• Assignment start date: January 1, 2027
