Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Neuro Hospitalist to provide scheduled, no-call coverage at an inpatient hospital in Georgia. This assignment offers a collaborative practice environment, flexible daytime scheduling, and the opportunity to support adult neurology patients alongside another physician and two advanced practice providers.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January 2027
• Coverage Type: Scheduled, no call
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Shift Length: 10-hour shifts
• Shift Times: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, flexible
• Scheduling: Standard schedule

Work Details
• Specialty: Neurology / Neurohospitalist
• Patient Population: Adults
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Practice Support: Work alongside another physician and two APPs per shift
• Clinical Responsibilities: Support hospital neurology patients
• Required Skills: Must be able to interpret diagnostic and continuous EEGs
Practice Setting
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Daytime coverage
• No call responsibilities

Requirements
• Board Certification: Neurology required
• Minimum Experience: One year required
• Fellowship: Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy preferred
• State License: Georgia required
• DEA: Required
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days
• Licensing Support: Willing to license qualified IMLC-eligible candidates
