Facility:
This 25-bed hospital serves as a Level IV Trauma Center providing essential healthcare services to the local community and surrounding areas. The facility features comprehensive on-site laboratory and radiology services, utilizes Epic EMR for documentation, and focuses on adult and geriatric patient populations with strong support from healthcare teams.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient hospital coverage with continuous 24-hour care responsibilities
• Serve as the sole physician covering inpatient and nursing home call duties during assigned shifts
• Assignment dates: July 3 (8a) - 6 (8a) with 7a-7a shift coverage
• Manage average census of 14 patients in hospital inpatient setting
• Handle unrestricted call coverage while not onsite, including nursing home call coverage in the county
• Work independently as the only provider taking call during these shifts
• Collaborate with 1 Physician Assistant for mid-level support
• Focus on adult and geriatric patient population
• Utilize Epic EMR documentation system
• Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Requires active Kentucky Medical License and Kentucky DEA
• BLS certification required
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
