Facility:
This is a Critical Access Hospital that provides essential healthcare services to the local community. The facility features a dedicated Mother Baby Unit with an inpatient nursery setting and maintains strong support systems for both patients and providers.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatric

Job Details:
• Provide pediatric hospitalist coverage in inpatient nursery setting
• Coverage needed 1 weekend per month from Friday 7pm to Monday 7am
• Schedule includes Friday 7pm-7am, Saturday 7am-7pm, and Saturday 7pm-Sunday 7am
• Manage pediatric patient population with average of 0.33 admissions and 1 inpatient per day
• Round on Mother Baby Unit floors
• Respond to in-house codes for post-delivery resuscitation as needed
• Perform newborn resuscitation and newborn care for babies 2000 grams and above
• Manage non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP/CPAP
• Perform intubation procedures (ETT/INT) when required
• Work alongside adult medicine hospitalist during coverage periods
• Utilize Meditech EMR documentation system
• Must be Board Certified in Pediatrics or Family Practice
• Active Massachusetts license preferred
• NRP certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 3 months

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
