Job description

PRACTICE DESCRIPTION:
80-120 medical surgical beds and closed ICU( no ICU involvement)
Specialty: Hospitalist
IM preferred but will consider BC FP
Dates: ASAP - Ongoing (Start date based on when privileges are secured)
Full-Time Opportunity
Day & Nights Shifts Available
7a-7p & 7p-7a
Average 6-8 admissions per week
Responsible for rounding on patients and average of 15 encounters a day
No Procedures
Nocturnist is mainly responsible for admissions
All specialties available except transplant surgery and cardiothoracic
Support staff: 3-5 other Hospitalist Rounding during the day; NP's and RN's, and residents at night
Meditech records system
Temp privileging takes 30 days
