Facility:
This medical center is a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California. The facility features a well-established pediatric department with a 30-bed unit, 16-bed PICU with dedicated pediatric intensivists, and strong subspecialty support with academic affiliation through the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatric

Job Details:
• Provide pediatric inpatient ward coverage in a 30-bed unit with an average daily census of 16-18 patients
• Perform newborn nursery examinations
• Conduct Emergency Department pediatric consultations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team, including subspecialists and intensivists
• Work closely with a 16-bed PICU staffed by dedicated pediatric intensivists
• Participate in teaching and education of pediatric residents and medical students
• Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Nevada Medical License required or willingness to obtain
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
• Clean malpractice and medical license history highly preferred
• Permanent, full-time position requiring local residency
• Weekend coverage likely required as part of hospitalist schedule
• Not accepting locums or visa candidates
