Locum Hospitalist in Rochester, NH | PRN Day & Night Shifts | No Post-Shift Call | Tele-Intensivist

Job description

Start: ASAP (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing coverage available)
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist coverage at a 100-bed acute care hospital
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:00-18:00; PRN - provider selects open shifts, days and nights available throughout the assignment
Call: On-site and on-call during shift only; no call or callback expectations after shift completion
Volume: Daily census 14-24; 4-5 admissions/day; 4-6 consults/day, primarily behavioral health and rehab; must be comfortable with 22+ encounters
Practice Setting: Acute care community hospital serving an underserved population
Procedures: No specific procedures required

Admit, round on, and discharge adult inpatients
Provide consults for geropsych and rehab units
Round in an open ICU with tele-intensivist support; vent and drip management supported by the virtual intensivist
Work alongside PT, OT, SLP, case management, respiratory therapy, and ED and surgical support
Two 12-hour shadow/orientation shifts provided at the start of the assignment

Requirements
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (hospitalist experience)
Active New Hampshire license and DEA required at time of submission
NPI number required with submission
Case logs required; reviewed during credentialing
Seasoned providers preferred
Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Credentialing timeline: minimum 90 days

12-hour day shifts, 6:00-18:00 (nights also available)
PRN scheduling - flexible shift selection
No post-shift call or callback
