Hospitalist Locums in New Hampshire | PRN Days & Nights | No Call | Open ICU | Flexible Shifts

Job description

Start: November 2, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing/open to extension)
Coverage: PRN inpatient hospitalist coverage - pick up available shifts as your schedule allows
Schedule: Swing 17:00-01:00 (may extend to 05:00 based on volume); Nocturnist 19:00-07:00; Days 07:00-19:00. 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available; both days and nights open throughout the assignment
Call: No call
Volume: Daily census 140-160; approximately 25-30 admissions per 24 hours; rounding 18-22 patients per day
Practice Setting: 300+ bed acute care hospital, Adult Trauma Level III / Peds Level IV
Procedures: None required; vent management not required
ICU: Open ICU - hospitalists round in the ICU
Support: Multiple specialty services on site at one of the largest hospitals in the region
Orientation: One orientation/shadow day plus one additional shadow day

Admit, round on, and discharge a diverse adult inpatient population
Manage consults as part of overall daily volume
Round in an open ICU with specialty backup available
Follow-ups managed as inpatients

Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience
Active New Hampshire license required at time of submission (no licensing assistance available)
NPI number required with submission
Case logs required
Experienced hospitalists preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location
Credentialing timeline: minimum 90 days
