Job Description:
The Nocturnist Physician will:
-Provide overnight inpatient care at Hospital (7 PM – 7 AM schedule)
-Work a 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts
-Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients overnight
-Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
-Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR
-Provide closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients
-Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
-Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams
-Coordinate appropriate follow-up care arrangements upon discharge
-Deliver patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care
-Participate as part of a respected, collegial Hospitalist team
--Work within a physician-led governance structure
-Utilize strong clinical judgment and communication skills in acute care settings
-Experience is REQUIRED, will not accept fresh graduates
Compensation and Benefits:
-Base Salary: $320,320 per year
-Bonus Opportunities: Productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses
-Starting Bonus: $15,000

Requirements
-Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years of eligibility) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine- [REQUIRED]
-NY Medical License or willingness to obtain- [REQUIRED]
-Clean malpractice and license history — [REQUIRED]
-Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED] * no exemption, required at presentation
Additional License Requirements
-MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

- Weekends included as part of 7-on/7-off 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM rotation schedule
