Hospitalist needed for Pacific Island

Job description

This is an immediate need for March or April. Secret of the South Pacific. Just less expensive living. Salary is $218k with our tax breaks its comparable to 330k on the mainland. My belief is this is the best place for service and adventure aspect of this position. We are looking for another hospitalist to join our group of 6 Typically the hospitalists work 7 days in a row (typically 8-5) followed by 3 nights the next week. A "night" means taking all admissions until 10pm and any calls and ICU admissions after 10. Non ICU admissions 10-8 are given hold over orders by the ER until the morning shift comes in. As a U.S. commonwealth pay is negligible fed taxes. Max 9.5% for our combined local and federal tax so makes take home pay much higher. We are the only hospital for the island chain, 86 bed hospital with 4 bed Sign up or sign in for contact information Hospital has a 4 bed ICU, NICU and a Dialysis Unit for 100 renal failure patients plus state of the art diagnostic facilities. Relocation and living expenses are covered. Tropical Island with spectacular beaches and breathtaking island scenes.
