This regional medical center is part of a well-established healthcare network providing comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility features 34 Labor & Delivery/Post Partum/Triage beds within a 205-bed hospital, offering advanced maternal care with Level II nursery capabilities and full support staff including LD nurses and midwives.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour in-house laborist coverage from Friday 7am to Monday 7am
• Work 2-3 weekends per month with ongoing coverage opportunities
• Practice setting is 90% Labor and Delivery with hospital call coverage
• Manage both low risk (60%) and high risk (40%) pregnancies
• Handle approximately 60% gynecology cases with an average of five GYN surgeries per day
• Work alongside a team of four physicians with 1:4 call ratio
• Support from one APP per 12-hour shift and experienced LD nurses and midwives
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, c-sections, breech, and multiple births
• Manage pregnancy complications including abruptions, VBACs, and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with performance and interpretation of Level I screening procedures
• Provide FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic approaches
• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, and cystectomy
• Utilize EPIC documentation system for all patient records
• Must maintain Board Certification, Ohio license, BLS/ACLS, active DEA, and clean malpractice history
• Credentialing timeframe of 30-90 days
• Travel expenses reimbursed including flight, hotel, rental car with lodging cap of $150/night
