Houston Hospitalist Need

Job description

• FP or IM accepted
• BC or BE with ACLS
• 762 bed facility
• No procedures
• Hospitalist run codes – ER and ANES are available for intubation
• 18-20 daily patient load
• Closed ICU
• EMR is Meditech
• APP on site from 9a-9p
• Level 2 Trauma designation
• Must have TX state license
• Vaccination requirements: PPD/CXR, FLU, COVID, Proof of Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR vaccinations or positive titers, Proof of Tdap Vaccination (must be within the past 10 years)
• Travel and lodging can be accommodated
• No call
• Shift times are 8a-8p; 8p-8a
• 4 rounding physicians
• Must be willing to work 4 shifts per month to be considered
