Locums Neuro Hospitalist needed in San Antonio, TX

Assignment Details
• Position: Physician – Neurohospitalist
• Start Date: April 10, 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + On Call

Schedule & Coverage
• Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage
○ Onsite: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
○ Call: Tele-stroke + General Neurology call (24 hours/day)
• Call Scope:
○ Telestroke call (split coverage for the month)
○ 24/7 General Neurology consult services
○ Unrestricted evening and overnight call
○ Non-stroke / non-TPA services included

Practice Setting
• Setting: Inpatient & Telehealth
• Average Daily Census: ~15 patients/day
• Consult Volume:
○ Neurology consults: 4–5/day
○ Telestroke: ~4/day
• EEG: EEG and continuous EEG
• Stroke Level: Comprehensive Stroke Center

Support & Staffing
• Support Staff: PA / NP
• Patients per Shift: ~15
