Perm - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Forth Worth, TX

Job Description:

-Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month
-Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5 24-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible)
-Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible
-Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
-Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
-Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually.
-Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
-Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
-Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
-Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
-Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
-Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
-Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
-Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.

Compensation and Benefits: (With full-time employment)
-Compensation rate: $135/hr (~$292,000 per year, assuming candidate meets all schedule requirements)
