Permanent Hospitalist | Full-Time, 24-Hour Model | Del Rio, TX | APP Support, No Procedures

Job description

Start: Flexible
Length: Permanent, full-time
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist medicine
Schedule: 24-hour model; onsite report at 7:00; telephonic availability after rounding
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, Level IV trauma; open ICU

• Inpatient admissions, rounding, and discharges
• APP day shift 13:00–21:00 Mon–Fri, plus flex APP surge support including weekends
• Open ICU; 24/7 teleneurology for ED stroke support
• Specialists on staff: general surgery, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and cardiology
• No procedures required
• Documentation in Meditech Expanse

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Hospitalist experience required
• Texas license (or eligible)
• ACLS and BLS required
