Job description

Start: Flexible
Length: Permanent, full-time
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist medicine
Schedule: 24-hour shift model with daytime rounding and on-call availability until the following morning
Volume: About 3,000 annual encounters (about 8 visits per day); about 2.5 admissions per day; average census of about 4
Practice Setting: State-of-the-art acute care hospital, 49 beds; open ICU

• Inpatient admissions, rounding, and discharges
• Open ICU
• No procedures required
• Documentation in Meditech Expanse

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Hospitalist experience required
• Texas license (or eligible)
• ACLS and BLS required
