Job description

Start: Flexible
Length: Permanent, full-time
Coverage: Inpatient hospitalist medicine
Schedule: Day shift 7:00–19:00 (2 hospitalists and 2 APPs); night shift 19:00–7:00 (1 hospitalist or APP)
Volume: About 27,000 annual encounters; about 74 visits per day; about 18 encounters per clinician per day
Practice Setting: 189-bed acute care hospital, Level III trauma center

• Inpatient admissions, rounding, and discharges
• Dedicated discharge navigator APP Monday–Friday
• Open ICU with pulmonary/critical care available for consultation
• Teleneurology support in the ED
• Specialty support: general/trauma surgery, cardiology, GI, nephrology, OB, oncology, pediatrics, pulmonology, plastics, neonatology, and urology

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Texas license (or eligible)
• ACLS and BLS required
