Pediatric NP with CICU experience Needed in TX

Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Opportunity: Quick Start – More details to come

Specialty: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Setting: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: Minimum 6-month commitment required

Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available
Must be able to work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

Call:
Potential call coverage required

Position Overview:
Join a specialized CICU team providing collaborative, around-the-clock care for pediatric patients before and after cardiac procedures

Requirements:
Active Texas NP and RN license required
Master’s or Post-Master’s degree required
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with Texas practice authority
Minimum 2 to 3 years of CICU or pediatric critical care experience required
Must have CICU experience

Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Advanced Practice Certification required (one of the following):
Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certified
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Board Certified
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care

Additional Requirements:
Completion of specialty training as required by credentialing, maintained throughout assignment

Credentialing Timeline:
Approximately 90 to 120 days
