Infectious Disease APP coverage in Greensboro, NC, full-time outpatient, 52-week contract.

Schedule & Coverage:
Specialty: Infectious Disease. Start Date: 12/14/2026. Contract Length: 52 Weeks (1 Year). Shift Details: Full Time. Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8-hour shifts), plus Friday (half day). Title: PA. On Call: No.

Work Details:
Support staff: RNs, CMA, Physician. Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 days per week. Patients per day: 12–15. Patient population/age: Adult. Department description: Infectious Disease. EMR: EPIC. Skills required: Must have recent experience with and be comfortable with HIV patients. Performs in-office physical assessments, reviews medical history, and interprets diagnostic tests/results to provide effective treatment. Conducts preventive health screenings based on age, history, and unique needs. Educates patients and family about specialty care conditions, treatment, and follow-up. Maintains record of all patient care. Performs office-based specialty care procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines and clinical roles. Identifies ways to improve outpatient specialty care. Performs other duties as assigned. Practice Setting: Outpatient.

Requirements:
Board Certification / Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree Physician Assistant Studies. Valid NC RN & Nurse Midwife or NP License — credentialing bodies listed: ANCC or NCC for NPs, AMCB, AANP, or PNCB. Valid NC PA License — Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by NCCPA for PAs. License required: Yes, State of NC. DEA: Yes.
