Job description

Specialty: Infectious Disease Physican
Patient Population: Adults

Scope of Practice:
HIV Diagnosis & Management: Perform HIV testing, confirm diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.

Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Management: Prescribe and monitor ART, ensuring patient adherence and minimizing resistance.

Opportunistic Infection Management: Screen for and treat infections such as tuberculosis, candidiasis, and cytomegalovirus.

Comorbidity Management: Treat and monitor conditions commonly seen in patients with HIV, including hepatitis B/C, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and mental health disorders.

PrEP and PEP: Educate patients and prescribe pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis as needed.

Certifications: BLS required
Licensure: Active California license required (must be in-hand)
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
Duration: 3+ months
Schedule: Scheduled shifts only; no call
