*NEW* Hospitalist need in ~ 1hr west of Popular Bluff, MO

Job description

A hospital in Southern Missouri is in need of LocumTenens coverage.

Nocturnist
• Client will respond to candidates in less than 48 hours
• Start Month: May 1st
• Shift times are 7pm-7am
o May 1-7th
o May 16-21st
o May 29-June 4th
o June 10th-June 18th
o June 26-July 2nd
o July 10-July 16th
o July 25-July 30th
• Less than 45-90 day credentialing timeline
• BC IM or FP
• 15-18 patients per day
• 5-6 admissions per night
• Procedures: Vent Management. Critical lines are preferred but not required
• There are no midlevels
• Number of beds: 118
• Open ICU 12 beds. Will have ICU support
• Facility does not have ICU support in the form of Pulmonology, Gastroenterology or Intensivist but does have other specialties that help manage patients; general surgeons are able to offer support for some of these concerns
• Emergency Department is responsible for codes. Hospitalist is asked to arrive as soon as possible to take over care
• EMR System: Meditech
• Will pay travel and lodging
