Infectious Disease – North Carolina

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Assignment Length: Approximately 52 weeks

Highlights:
• Long-term assignment offering consistent coverage for approximately one year
• Inpatient-only practice focused on infectious disease consults and management of complex infections
• Established health system utilizing Epic EMR with APP support available at one of the locations

Practice Details:
• Inpatient setting
• Adult patient population
• Average of approximately 20 patients per day
• Responsibilities include infectious disease consults, hospital rounding, and management of complex infections such as sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis
• Will provide coverage across two hospital locations within the same health system
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Infectious Disease
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Infectious Disease fellowship training required

Credentialing: 60–90 days
