Assignment Details:

Start Date: 09/14/2026
Contract Length: 52 weeks (approximately 1 year)
Schedule: TBD
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Patients Per Day: Approximately 20 (varies)
Patient Population: Adult
Case Mix: Infectious Disease consults and inpatient rounding
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

State License: Active North Carolina license required
Certifications: BC in Infectious Disease, BLS, ACLS, and active DEA
Credentialing: 60–90 days

Additional Details:

Will float between Moses Cone and Wesley Long facilities.
APP support available at Moses Cone; solo coverage at Wesley Long.
Responsibilities include hospital rounding, infectious disease consults, and evaluating/managing complex infections such as sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis.
Provider must be Infectious Disease trained.
