North Carolina Infectious Disease Locums - Ongoing Monthly Coverage

Job description

I am recruiting an Infectious Disease physician for a long-term North Carolina locum assignment built around approximately one week of coverage per month, with an ongoing need continuing into 2027.

The clinical work is inpatient Infectious Disease with hospital rounding, consults and management of complex infections including sepsis, osteomyelitis and endocarditis. The patient population is adult, volume averages around 20 patients per day but can vary, and the EMR is Epic.

The normal weekday schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. There is also an immediate need for weekend coverage beginning either November 6 or November 20, running Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 8 AM and including clinic and night call. The physician must be able to cover at least one of those weekends. Physicians who can cover both will be especially valuable for the ongoing monthly schedule.

This assignment requires an active North Carolina license.
