Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient medical group in Brattleboro, VT. In this full-time permanent role, you will independently perform medical acts within your scope of practice, providing comprehensive primary care, disease prevention, and health promotion for individuals and families.
Schedule & Work Details
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Weekends: None
On-Call: 1:11 call rotation
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide comprehensive primary care medical services in accordance with APRN licensure standards.
Deliver leadership within the care team, collaborating closely with physicians, LPNs, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
Provide patient/family education to support informed healthcare decision-making.
Maintain a safe, efficient, and cost-effective clinical environment.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program [Required]
Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Nurse Practitioner experience [Required] (Not open to new graduates)
Licensure: Active Vermont APRN License or eligible to obtain prior to start [Required]
Certifications: Active DEA License & BLS/CPR Certification [Required]
Board Certification: National certification (Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP) [Highly Preferred]
Prior RN Experience: 2+ years of RN experience prior to earning advanced degree [Highly Preferred]
Commute: Must reside within a 1-hour commuting distance of Brattleboro, VT.
Background: Clean malpractice history & recent NPDB Self-Query Report.
