The Illinois Department of Human Services – Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a dedicated Physician to join the Medical Services Unit at Kiley Developmental Center in Lake County.
This is a meaningful, mission-forward role providing essential medical care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—while collaborating with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team committed to dignity, equity, and high‑quality care.
📍 Location: 1401 W Dugdale Rd, Waukegan, IL
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried
💰 Salary: $13,138–$17,872/month ($157,656–$214,464/year)
🕒 Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm
What You’ll Do:
• Deliver medical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment services
• Conduct rounds and evaluate individuals’ health needs
• Serve on individualized treatment teams and medical committees
• Perform annual physical exams
• Provide on-call medical coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Support Kiley’s mission of person-centered care and safety
Minimum Requirement:
• Illinois license to practice medicine
Preferred Experience:
• Medical care for adults
• Interdisciplinary care coordination
• Work with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Strong communication and documentation skills
