Position Highlights:
•Start Date: ASAP
•Schedule: There are no set shifts. Can work whatever hours you prefer, as long as all assigned chart reviews are completed within every 30 days.
•Assignment Length: Ongoing, with an initial six-month commitment and the option to extend.
•The practice is primarily focused on preventative care visits. This provider is simply reviewing charts that have been completed by a midlevel. This locum is not seeing patients- only signing off.
•This locum will not be diagnosing, with the rare exception when the midlevel sees a diabetic patient. If a patient is diabetic, an ICD-10 code is generated after the evaluation is completed. The evaluation includes: Two blood pressure readings taken by an RN and a glucose test.
•Volume: Typically 30–50 charts per month
•Requirements: MD or DO. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Flexible.
•Patient Population: Primary care. Adults (18+).
•EMR: Custom EMR.
Licensure
•Immediate need and ACTIVE LICENSE REQUIRED: North Carolina (provider needed to start in the next two weeks).
