Job DescriptionThe primary focus of the Internal Medicine Physician is to provide continuing, comprehensive health wellness, preventive and medical care to patients of the community
Details:Manage and maintain a program of comprehensive health for the patients
Prepare and review medical histories and obtains data through interviews
Examine patients, formulate diagnostic plans, and define and order required diagnostic testing
Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of the specialist
Participate in other care procedures according to training and demonstrated ability
Provide supportive and definitive care to patients with primary care appropriate medical conditions
Formulate plans and procedures for operating outpatient services directed toward health maintenance as primary care provider

Qualifications
Valid California MD or DO license
Completion of residency in internal medicine
Board Certified
English plus additional language desired
Practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center or similar serving diverse uninsured and under-served populations
