Job description

Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in Okeechobee, FL available. This is a flexible PRN role where you can pick up shifts based on your availability.

Schedule:
• Start: July 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• PRN – pick up shifts as available
• 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Must be open to both day and night shifts

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Rural/community setting (~100 beds)
• Broad case mix with limited specialty backup
• Opportunity to work independently with strong generalist skillset

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician (EM, IM, or FM)
• Active FL license (licensing not available)
• Must be comfortable working in a rural ED setting

Credentialing:
• Approximately 90 days
