Outpatient Primary Care Locum w/ Corrections Facility Need in Eastern GA

Job description

Seeking a locum tenens Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive medical care within a correctional health setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a combination of hands-on patient care, medical leadership, care coordination, and program oversight.

What You’ll Do

Direct Patient Care

Conduct inmate/resident health examinations and comprehensive medical evaluations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing follow-up care
Perform minor surgical procedures as needed
Monitor patients requiring higher levels of care
