Family Medicine/Internal Medicine (Locum 3 - 6 Months) – Alma, Georgia

Position: Family Medicine Physician
Setting: Traditional inpatient/outpatient practice at a Critical Access Hospital + Rural Health Clinic
Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Fri 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
Call: 1:4 (transitioning to 1:5; long-term plan for nocturnist coverage)
Patient Volume: ~25 clinic patients/day + AM hospital rounds (typically 4-5 patients)
EMR: Meditech
T&L : Yes
Candidate Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible
Georgia license preferred to expedite credentialing
*Client said its a plus if you can do rounds on the Nursery*

Practice Highlights

Adult & pediatric medicine
Morning inpatient rounding followed by full outpatient clinic
Hospital census currently averages ~10 (max 25)
Team includes an FNP, General Surgeon, and Pediatrician (recruiting)
