Positions with the VA are the most steady and consistent you can find- 6 month contract to start

Low patient volume- 12-15 per day!
Steady caseload- lots of chronic care cases
IM and FM providers accepted- primary care experience required
Travel and lodging paid for
ANY state license accepted- government opportunity
6-8 week credentialing
