## Family Medicine Physician – Full-Time

## ⚡ POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

* **Employment Type:** Full-Time – 1.0 FTE
* **Practice Setting:** Primary Care / Outpatient
* **Schedule:** Monday 7:30 AM–6:00 PM; Tuesday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
* **Call:** Shared call, approximately **8 weeks per year**
* **Team:** 2 Physicians, 3 APPs, 2 LMSWs, PharmD, Care Manager, and 21 support staff
* **Teaching:** Residents, medical students, and fellows
* **EMR:** Epic / MyChart
* **Board Certification:** Board Certified or Board Eligible
* **License:** Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain
* **DEA:** Required or willing to obtain
* **BLS/ACLS:** Required or willing to obtain
* **New Graduates:** Welcome
* **Visa Support:** J-1/H-1B considerations available, subject to applicable requirements

## 👨‍⚕️ CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Family Medicine Physician will:

* Provide comprehensive direct patient care
* Practice the full spectrum of family medicine
* Develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients
* Collaborate with physicians, APPs, social workers, pharmacists, care managers, and support staff
* Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
* Document patient care using the **Epic EMR**
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives
* Support community health initiatives
* Participate in teaching and mentoring of **residents, medical students, and fellows**

* **Board Certified or Board Eligible** in Family Medicine
* Board Eligible physicians must obtain board certification within the timeframe established by the applicable specialty board
* **Active Michigan medical license** or ability to obtain
* **DEA license** or willingness to obtain
* **BLS and ACLS** certification or willingness to obtain
* Clean malpractice history preferred
* Open to **new graduates**
* Visa sponsorship/support may be considered, including **J-1 or H-1B**, subject to applicable requirements
