Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $225,000 - $250,000/year

Overview:
A federally qualified community health center in the Bronx is seeking an Internist to provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse and underserved patient population in a mission-driven outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
✔ Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and physical examinations
✔ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic internal medicine conditions
✔ Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
✔ Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
✔ Provide preventive care, immunizations, and patient education
✔ Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
✔ Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
✔ Provide continuity of care across diverse patient populations
✔ Participate in on-call rotation and clinical meetings

Qualifications:
✔ MD or DO from an accredited medical school
✔ Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency
✔ Active state medical license required
✔ Board Certified in Internal Medicine required
✔ Spanish bilingual preferred
✔ Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills
✔ Experience with EHR systems preferred
✔ Commitment to community health strongly preferred
