Assignment Details:
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Contract Length: 23 Weeks
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00a–7:30p); weekends and holidays required. Typically 2–3 weekend shifts per month with rotating holiday coverage.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital (Non-ICU)
• Case Mix: General cardiology patients with concurrent medical conditions including heart failure, diabetes, renal failure, and other complex medical issues.
• Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, consults, progress notes, discharge summaries, multidisciplinary rounds, and occasional post-cardiac procedure service coverage.
• Patient Volume: 6–7 patients per day
• Support Staff: Attending physician rounds with APPs each morning and rotates weekly
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• State License: California NP License required, willing to license for PAs
• Certifications: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC; ACLS and BLS required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient cardiology experience required. Will consider related experience including cardiac critical care, cardiac procedure care, or cath lab experience. Must have at least 1 year of inpatient medicine management experience.
