Position Overview
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Cardiology or Vascular to join a dynamic multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Qualifications
✓ Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✓ Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License
✓ Board Certification required
✓ Experience in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, or general surgery
✓ RN experience in vascular care will also be considered
✓ Proficiency with EHR systems and cardiac/vascular diagnostics, including EKGs, stress tests, and vascular studies
✓ Strong knowledge of treatment protocols and evidence-based care
✓ Excellent communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability
Key Responsibilities
✓ Provide direct patient care, including histories and physical examinations
✓ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and peripheral arterial disease
✓ Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and vascular studies
✓ Perform specialty-specific procedures such as wound debridement, suture removal, cardioversion assistance, and vascular access management
✓ Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans, including medication prescribing and management
✓ Coordinate care with physicians, surgeons, rehabilitation staff, and other healthcare providers
✓ Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, diet, exercise, smoking cessation, medication adherence, and self-management
✓ Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and document patient encounters
✓ Manage long-term follow-up care, monitor treatment effectiveness, address complications, and adjust care plans as needed
✓ Support smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings
Schedule
✓ Full-time or Part-time available
✓ Part-time schedule requires a minimum of 3 days per week
