Qualifications
✓ Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✓ Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License
✓ Board Certification required
✓ Minimum of 1 year of outpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience
✓ Proficiency with EHR systems and cardiac diagnostics, including EKGs and stress tests
✓ Knowledge of cardiac treatment protocols and evidence-based care
✓ Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities
✓ Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnose cardiac conditions
✓ Develop individualized treatment and care plans based on patient needs
✓ Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
✓ Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including echocardiograms and Holter monitors
✓ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
✓ Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and medication management
✓ Provide ongoing patient support and promote adherence to treatment plans
✓ Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and clinical documentation
✓ Follow practice standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements
