Aya Locums is seeking experienced Cardiology providers for an ongoing inpatient locum opportunity in Western North Carolina.

Position Details
-Specialty: Cardiology
-Start Date: ASAP
-End Date: Ongoing
-Coverage Type: Scheduled Hours
-Practice Setting: Inpatient
-EMR: Cerner
-Schedule Options: Day Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week (primarily day coverage) or Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-Non-ICU work with general cardiology floor coverage

Clinical Responsibilities
-Daily rounding on floor-level care patients admitted to or consulted on the general cardiology service line
-Writing: Daily progress notes, Event notes, Admission H&Ps, New consult notes, Discharge documentation, Ordering medications, diagnostic testing, and procedures as indicated
-Managing primarily step-down and cardiology unit patients
-Performing procedures in the ICU when indicated, including: Arterial line placement
Central line placement, Cardioversion, Completing new consults alongside attending physicians

Requirements
-Active NC License
-Active NC DEA

Credentialing
-Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
