Employment Type: Full-Time (80 hours per pay period)

Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday rotations (Sunday – Saturday Work Week)

Clinical Hours: 07:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

Join a collaborative cardiovascular team providing comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role features a balanced 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient split, utilizing a weekly rotation model (e.g., one week dedicated to hospital rounds, the following week dedicated to the clinic). You will be supported by a robust team of four staff physicians, dedicated medical assistants, and a specialized triage nursing team.

Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient Care: Manage a daily volume of 8–15 hospital patients. Focus on rounds, admissions, and discharge planning.

Outpatient Care: Evaluate 15–18 clinic patients per day.

Specialized Support: Provide clinical oversight and support for General Cardiology, Invasive Cardiology, and Electrophysiology (EP) service lines.

Device Clinic: Collaborate with dedicated device clinic staff for patient management and follow-up.

Facility & Technology
System: Fully integrated EPIC EMR.

Support Staff: Assigned MA for patient management and a dedicated Triage RN team.

Diagnostic Tools: Access to full cardiac diagnostic suites, including device clinics and electrophysiology resources.

Submission Requirements

All candidates must provide the following documentation for the initial "Name Clear" and presentation process:

Board Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (REQUIRED).

Licensure: Active Oregon State License (REQUIRED—candidates willing to obtain may be considered).

Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of professional experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (REQUIRED).

Background: Clean professional background with no history of malpractice (Highly Preferred).

NPDB Self-Query: National Practitioner Data Bank self-query pulled within the last 30 days.

CAQH: Login credentials required at the time of official offer.

DEA: Verbal confirmation of active DEA required at the time of Name Clear.

Credentialing: Must meet all criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileging.
