Job description

A Washington-based facility is seeking two full-time Nurse Practitioners for a Cardiology locum tenens assignment running from June 22, 2025 to January 3, 2026.

Assignment Details:
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday weekly

Provider 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Provider 2: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Both schedules include a 1-hour lunch

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)

Patient Load: 18–20 patients per shift

Support Staff: Provided

Setting: Inpatient Cardiology, Trauma Level II

EMR: Epic

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required

License: Active WA PA/NP license (compact accepted for NPs)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

• Stable Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour day shifts from Wednesday to Sunday, no nights or call
• High-Volume Cardiac Care: Inpatient cardiology at a Level II Trauma Center, managing 18–20 patients per shift
• Team-Based Care: Support staff provided; Epic EMR; credentialing in 60–90 days
