Locum Physician Assistant - Inpatient - Cardiology - CA license

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in an inpatient cardiology setting in Burlingame, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking for full-time coverage starting February 2, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:

Specialty: Cardiology – Inpatient
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Schedule:

Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekend rotation every 2–3 weeks
On-call required


Contract Length: ongoing
Start Date: February 2, 2026 (credentialing required)
Patient Volume: ~10–15 patients per day
Patient Population: Adults
Charting Software: Epic
Support Staff: Cardiologist and clinic staff onsite
Procedures: None required


✅ Requirements:

Active California PA license (required at submission)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only)
DEA license (required)
Minimum 2 years inpatient experience
Epic EMR experience preferred
Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~90 days (expedited possible)
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
