Location: Gadsden, Alabama
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Approximately 2 months, with potential for an additional week of call coverage
Setting: Inpatient hospital
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days; temporary privileges available

Opportunity Details:
A hospital in Alabama, is seeking an interventional cardiologist for short-term locum tenens coverage. The assignment includes scheduled inpatient clinical coverage, rounding on unassigned patients, and beeper call.

Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Specific clinical schedule to be determined
Beeper call with a 30-minute response time
Call coverage for unassigned patients
Possible STEMI cases
No admissions listed
One PA/NP available for support

Responsibilities:
Inpatient interventional cardiology coverage
Rounding on unassigned patients
Responding to interventional cardiology call
Providing STEMI coverage as needed

Requirements:
Board Certified required
Fellowship training preferred
Active Alabama medical license or IMLC eligibility
ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required
Interventional cardiology experience required
Must be comfortable providing inpatient and call coverage

Licensing: IMLC candidates considered
Temporary Privileges: Available
