Position Overview

A facility in Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage beginning January 2026. This role includes scheduled clinical hours plus call with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Coverage Type: Clinical hours + call

Patients per shift: Approx. 15

Practice Setting

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Support Staff: Full support team in place

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

Active Alaska Medical License (required—no exceptions)

Fellowship: Interventional Cardiology fellowship required

Certifications:

ABLS

ACLS

BLS

Must be comfortable working in both acute and outpatient environments within a Level III trauma facility

Credentialing timeframe: ~30 days
