A hospital-based Cardiovascular Institute in Verde Valley, AZ is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing weekend coverage, starting March 6, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking to supplement their schedule with low-frequency but consistent weekend call.

Schedule & Contract
Start Date: March 6, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage: 1 weekend per month
Shift: Friday (7am or 5pm) – Monday (7am)
Clinical Environment
Setting: Hospital
Department: Cardiovascular Institute
Support Staff: Nursing
Patient Population: Primarily 60+
EMR: Cerner

Skills & Responsibilities
Interventional Cardiology coverage as needed
Comfortable working independently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff & patients

Requirements
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Arizona license (willing to license)
Interview: Zoom
Credentialing: ~30 days
