Interventional Cardiology Locums - California – 24-Hour Call

Job description

A well-established Interventional Cardiology program in Northern LA, California is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for 24-hour on-call locums coverage. This is a high-acuity service with advanced mechanical circulatory support and a strong, experienced cath lab team.

Assignment Overview:
- Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
- Coverage Type: 24-hour on-call

Schedule:
- 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- 1–2 weeks per month needed
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens

Cath Lab Setup:
- 1 Cath Lab with overflow into IR suite
- Case Volume: 5–10 cases per day

Advanced Support & Devices:
- Impella CP & RP
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- TherOx
- Penumbra

Additional Details:
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist
