Practice Setting: Hospital-based Cath Lab
Coverage Needed: 1–2 weeks per month

Facility & Cath Lab Overview

Cath Lab: 1 dedicated cath lab with overflow into IR suite

Case Volume:

Average 5–10 cases per day

Approximately 10 STEMIs per month (120 annually)

Impella CP & RP

Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

TherOx

Penumbra

Staffing & Support

Cath Lab Team:

6 Registered Nurses

6 Technologists

Call Team:

4-person team (2 RNs, 2 RTs)

Director

Manager

Clinical Coordinator / Charge RN
